Ranting Again
By DENNIS MILLER

Facebook me! <=== I think this is another time trap along the lines of AIM and this blog, but it's pretty fun, makes me feel like I have alot of self-worth as my friend amount keeps on growing. Righteous, eh?

I finished ninth out of thirty or so people in the tourney, pretty good for my first try, but they gave the top seven prizes...I WILL HAVE MY VENGEANCE!

This will occur another time, after I train longer, to be faster, more efficient, more sly...better than any of my competition. Haha, as if poker is a sport, instead of an advanced excercise in luck and the ability to read people.

I've kept up my running at least two miles everyday program, allowing time for my shins to recover, because shin splints have never been a day at Elitch Gardens for me...I'm beginning to like running, which doesn't worry me, even though people who "run for fun" are objects of ridicule by envious out-of-shape persons, for obvious reasons.

I enjoy the dorm life, people are awesome, and I'm still not homesick, now I will focus on IMPROVING MY STUDY HABITS.

Also, I'm am thankful that I do not have any drama or melodrama in my life, although there are some consequences to this, at least my stress levels are a lot lower than they would be if I had to constantly deal with bullshit, as some people around me have to.

Thankfully, it's been a while since I last posted. A lot happened, not all of it relevant, so there's no reason for me to try to dissect it. I do like Texas Hold 'Em though, and I am playing in a tournament today.

I will win.

I will make my opponents cry with the sure ease of my victory.

I will also wear my righteous "Walmart-3-dollar-old-blind-person" poker sunglasses.

I won't win any money because it's a HoGG tourney at the student union, so these "prizes" for the winners better be "outrageously awesome" or I'll be cracking some skulls, namely my own if I try to punt a football on concrete while wearing my new running shoes again.

Thankfully that didn't hurt too much, but then I proceeded to sprain my left thumb against my thigh while trying to throw the ball under my right leg, a game of catch turns into a game of twister with my penchant for klutziness. At least I can still write and throw, otherwise my whole world would come crumbling down...I want a slingshot for some reason.

HAVE AN EXCELLENT WEEKEND, but watch out for fricking rabid bats.
