Writing about our contemporaries: Two Contemporaries.
Scott Koch
A particular fellow who goes to my school by the name of Scott Koch really seems to be in touch with his inner athlete, while at the same time does not let his academic abilities go to waste, as I have seen his name on the Honor Roll both of the six-weeks that I have been attending this school. He apparently plays multiple sports, and many a touchdown of his has been reported in the paper. If he continues his academic and athletic successes, I see no reason why he could not eventually become a professional athlete.
Brian Lander
Another person I have come to know at Regis through the sport of hockey is Brian Lander. Now I seriously doubt that he can become an NHL superstar, as it is highly unlikely that very man people playing in Colorado High School Hockey would even be able to play varsity hockey in College (NCAA). However, it seems to me that Lander's goal in life is different, he has been accepted to The Citadel in South Carolina, he says he might play for their club hockey team, but I feel that he is striving for a military life, being a career soldier perhaps. It seems to me he has enough discipline to survive the rigors of that academy. Perhaps in the future his title will be General Lander
