If you were to be really awake right now, what would that mean?

If I was really to be awake right now, that would mean that I would be trying to be aware of every single thing affecting this planet at the moment. I would definitely keep a sharp eye on all world events as well as all domestic ones. I would do this without mindlessly accepting any news I heard, but listen to or read it carefully so that I could sort out biases and semi-truths. I would also try to experience as many new things as possible in order to "broaden my horizon" (I know that's a cliche) and try to make sure that I vary my routine so that I don't become so set in it that I am an automaton dedicated to the pursuit of normalcy in my life.
